Removal and installation of nozzles

Damages of nozzles can lead to a detonation of the engine and damage of bearings. For troubleshooting of a nozzle it is necessary to turn off one after another cap nuts of the bringing pipelines of high pressure. If at an otvorachivaniye of the next nut the knock stops, then the damaged nozzle is found. It is possible to check nozzles by means of the special device.

Signs of a faulty nozzle following:
   Lack of ignition of fuel in the cylinder.
   b) Knock in one or several cylinders.
   c) Engine overheat.
   d) Excessively dense black exhaust.
   e) Deceleration of power of the engine. The increased fuel consumption.
   f) A dense blue exhaust at the cold engine.

 REMOVAL

1. Clear injection pipelines an autocleaner to exclude hit of pollution when opening system.

2. Remove the inlet pipeline, address the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

3. Disconnect fuel-supply lines of high pressure at nozzles and TNVD by means of a key (1), for example HAZET 4550. Address an accompanying illustration.

Do not change a form of pipelines. Put on caps for protection against dirt hit openings of nozzles and TNVD.

4. If holders of pipelines act, previously mark their situation with a felt-tip pen. Address an accompanying illustration.

5. Disconnect carefully drain tubes from nozzles.

6. Remove nozzles by means of a head of 27 mm, for example HAZET 4555-1. Nozzles are protected from below by caps.

You watch that nozzles did not fall. Besides, at a nozzle of the 4th cylinder disconnect a cable of the built-in sensor of the beginning of injection. Establish all nozzles on the former places.

7. Take out heat-shielding laying.


 INSTALLATION

1. Heat-shielding laying of nozzles is always established new. Deepening of laying has to look upward. The arrow on an illustration shows towards a head of cylinders.

2. Screw nozzles and fix by their moment offered by Specifications.

3. Fix pipelines by the required moment.

4. Put on drainage hoses.

5. Attach a cable of the sensor of the beginning of supply of fuel to a nozzle of the 4th cylinder.

6. According to markings fix brackets if they acted.

7. Establish a vacuum hose of the amplifier of a brake at the holder of a head of cylinders.

8. Install the inlet pipeline, address the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

9. Start the engine and check tightness of fuel system.
