Check of the directing valves

When carrying out repair of the head of cylinders having untight valves there is not enough processing of valves and saddles or their replacement. Besides, it is necessary to check wear of the directing valves. Especially it needs to be executed on engines with big service life. Worn-out guides exclude the correct landing of valves of m cause the raised oil consumption. At too big wear it is necessary to replace guides on new (work HUNDRED).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the valve.
2. Remove deposits on a guide.
3. Insert the new valve from the combustion chamber. The end of a core has to be closed by a guide.

4. Check a gap in interface, having shaken the valve.

5. For check of size of a gap put the indicator or a steel ruler to the valve. The maximum gap should not exceed 0.5 mm.
6. If the gap is more, develop guides and install repair valves with a big diameter of a core (work HUNDRED).

If the guide was replaced or developed, it is necessary to process a valve saddle.
