EACH 80 000 KM OF THE RUN

Gasoline is extremely flammable therefore during the work with any components of fuel system it is necessary to take special precautionary measures. You do not smoke and do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade. You do not perform such works in the garages equipped with the heating devices using natural gas (such as vodogre, dryers, etc.). The working platform has to be ventilated well. At hit of gasoline on skin immediately wash away it water with soap. When carrying out any works with fuel system put on goggles and you hold near at hand the fire extinguisher.

Replacement of the filter of the petrol engine

Necessary tool:
   Jack and supports.
   b) Two small clamps for a latching of fuel hoses.
   c) Capacity for collecting the following gasoline.
   Are necessary also:
   d) The fuel filter for the corresponding engine.
   e) Two collars, for fastening of pipelines of supply of fuel.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in fuel system.
2. The fuel filter is located on the left longitudinal beam under the driver's seat. It is available only from below.
3. Lift and install the car on supports. Remove the lower guard of a motive compartment, address the Section Removal and installation of the lower lower guard of a motive compartment.
4. Remove facing around the filter.

5. Press clamps hoses before and after the filter. Address an accompanying illustration.
6. Weaken collars (1) and (3) and disconnect fuel hoses at the filter.
7. Weaken a coupler (2) filters and take out the filter.


Collect the following gasoline in capacity and utilize it, observing requirements for environmental protection. Do not use naked flame. You keep in readiness the fire extinguisher.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert the fuel filter and fix the holder. You watch the correct position of the filter. The arrow on the case of the filter specifies in the direction of the movement of fuel, i.e. in the direction of the engine. Address an accompanying illustration.
2. Put on fuel hoses branch pipes (1) and (2) fuel filters and fix by collars.

3. Remove clamps.
4. Include neutral transfer and the parking brake. Start the engine and check tightness of fuel connections.
5. Establish covers and lower the car on wheels.

Removal of water and replacement of the fuel filter of the diesel engine

 Replacement of the fuel filter of the diesel engine is made each 40000 km.

When performing TO-1 (each 10 000 km of a run, but at least once a year), it is necessary to delete water from the fuel filter of the diesel engine.

Water is formed, as a rule, in the fuel tank as a result of condensation or gets together with fuel at gas station.

The filter is in a motive compartment, on the left side. The corresponding capacity is necessary for collecting water.

The diesel fuel which got on rubber details (hoses of cooling liquid) has to be immediately wiped since differently eventually the detail will fail.

Removal of water

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Put on the corresponding hose of Ø of 8 mm a drain branch pipe. Substitute capacity for collecting liquid.

2. Turn off a hand on several turns a nut (2) under the filter. If manually the nut does not turn away, it is possible to apply a pipe key with leather or cardboard laying.
3. Before emergence of pure fuel from the filter about 200 cm3 of water can merge. Wrap by hand the gate of removal of water.

4. Disconnect the giving pipeline to TNVD at the top part of the filter. At the same time squeeze a clip. Ask the assistant to start the engine until from the filter fuel does not go. Stop the engine. Thus from the filter air quickly is removed. Address an accompanying illustration.

For collecting the following diesel fuel substitute the corresponding capacity.

5. Put on a fuel hose. Replace the damaged laying. For simplification of putting on of a hose grease a branch pipe with technical vaseline. Start the engine. Several times give gas. Through the transparent hose going to TNVD there has to be a fuel which is not containing vials of air. Check tightness of system.

Replacement of the filter

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Merge from the filter liquid, as during removal of water.

2. Unscrew hands the fuel filter from a flange. If the filter sits very strongly, unscrew it a tape key, for example, of HAZET 2170. Address an accompanying illustration.

3. If there is no tape key, turn out two bolts of fastening at the top part of the filter and remove the filter with a flange. Previously disconnect the giving and returnable fuel hoses, having squeezed brackets. Besides, to a rasstykuyta shtekerny connection of heating of a flange of the filter. Clamp a flange in a vice.
21 Fill the new filter to the brim with fuel and wrap it a hand for a flange.

Do not wrap the filter too strongly. After a laying prileganiye to a flange tighten the filter for a half-turn. Pay attention to the instructions given on a filter cover.

22 If necessary establish a filter flange together with the filter and attach the plug and a hose of supply of fuel. Replace the damaged laying. For simplification of installation grease laying with vaseline.
23 Ask the assistant to start the engine until fuel does not act from the filter. Stop the engine. Thus from the filter air quickly is removed.

Collect the following diesel fuel.

24 Attach a hose of the fuel pump to the filter. Replace the damaged laying. For simplification of installation grease laying with vaseline.
25 Start the engine. Several times give gas. Through the transparent hose going to TNVD there has to be a fuel which is not containing vials of air. Check tightness of system.
