Automobile radio receiver

Ranges of average, long and short waves provide big range of reception as radio signals extend not only as the superficial waves which are bending around Earth but also as the spatial waves reflected by an ionosphere.

In the VHF range (FM) it is provided the best quality of reproduction of a sound, than on any other waves is considerable. However the radius of action of the radio stations working in this range is limited owing to rectilinear distribution of very high frequency.

Certain restrictions in reception are partially compensated by "smart" systems.

Radio Data System provides the automatic choice of frequency with the highest quality of reception if the radio station conducts broadcasting at several frequencies.

The method of a razneseniye of antennas means that several antennas for reception of very high frequency are built in back glass. Thus, in the car there are three antennas independent from each other. The built-in processor automatically chooses that antenna which provides the best reception of very high frequency. Switching from the antenna to the antenna is made for only a few milliseconds and is absolutely imperceptible for the person.
