Check of glow lamps

 CHECK

1. Remove a lamp and check it visually. If filament of a lamp fused or the glass flask unsteadily sits in a socle, replace a lamp.
2. For exact check of serviceability of a lamp it is necessary to do the following:
Attach a lamp directly to the rechargeable battery. Respect for polarity in this case is optional. Attach one wire to the feeding contact of a lamp, another to the lamp case. If the lamp does not light up, it needs to be replaced. It is necessary to check also whether there are no corrosion traces on the lamp case. In the presence of a rust smooth out it a skin.
3. If the lamp is serviceable, insert it into a cartridge and include. If the lamp does not light up, check food a control lamp. For this purpose attach a control lamp to weight. Accession is carried out as follows. One wire of a control lamp joins a weight point on the engine (smoothed-out metal) or directly a negative pole of the rechargeable battery. Other end of a control lamp (+) joins or the current carrying plug or is stuck in a current carrying cable. If now the control lamp lights up, and the checked lamp does not burn, there is a break in a weight wire to a lamp. For check apply a weight wire to the boss of a lamp. Now the lamp has to light up.
4. If tension in a current carrying cable to a lamp is not present and the control lamp does not light up, damage of the switch is probable. Check the switch.
5. Otherwise check the lamp module.
